WATCH: Reactions as Afia Schwarzenegger exposes Ghana Police over cop who killed Maadwoa
Afia Schwarzenegger, a comedienne, has attacked the Ghana Police Service, accusing them of lying to the public about the murder of the Adum lady known as Maadwoa.
Last week, a Ghana police officer named Inspector Ahmed Twumasi shot and killed a young lady named Victoria Dapaah aka Maadwoa in Adum, Kumasi.
Twumasi was allegedly dating Maadwoa despite being married, and he was furious when he learned she was planning to travel abroad to see her baby daddy. Out of rage, he shot her.
Twumasi, on the other hand, claimed in court that Maadwoa owed him Ghc 5,000 and had refused to pay, resulting in an argument that led to her shooting.
In the midst of all of this, Afia Schwarzenegger has emerged with new information, accusing the police of deceiving Ghanaians.
The suspect, according to her, is Inspector Samuel Darko alias Koo Sammy. Afia claims she got the information from her uncle and wondered why the police were lying about the identity of the killer.
“Just found out from my uncle that this dude is called Koo Sammy in Mampong. No wonder the girl on the “call”kept calling him Mr Darko. His real name is Samuel Darko. Good morning Ghana,” she wrote.
