Ablekuma bullion van robbery; photos of the police officer who was shot dead during the incident have popped up online.
Reports went rife yesterday that armed robbers have attacked a bullion van and made away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to an eyewitness report, the incident happened at the Starv Oil filling station close to the ECG office.
The armed robbers reportedly pulled up in a black saloon car plus a motorbike and made their first hit at the police officer in the van.
According to an eyewitness account, they shot him twice – one in his arm and in his abdomen which led to his death.
Following the incident, photos of the young police officer have surfaced on social media. He is identified as Amoah per his tag, and he is married man.
