Kirani Ayat And GTA Settles Differences

Not long ago, Ghanaian hausa rapper, Kirani Ayat, was in the news after the president’s posted a video which included a part of his popular Guda music video and he wanted to sue the presidency for copyright.

On September 27th, when the video was posted, the GUDA rapper wrote:

The president of Ghana has used my video ‘GUDA’ in this ad to promote Ghana,” the singer tweeted on Tuesday (27 September 2022). “I was actively reaching out to the Ministry of Tourism in 2018/19 to use this video to push tourism in the North and got NO reply, yet today it’s in an ad and no one reached out to me for permission.”

This created awareness, making a lot of Ghanaians go behind the rapper and ask him to sue the president and his people for using his content without consent. Meanwhile, today on the official twitter page of Kirani Ayat, he posted an official letter making the whole world aware that he has gone into a reasonable agreement with the Ghana Tourism Authority and their support is worth it.
